Before it was a project, it was part of our lives.
Our family includes three dogs and a rabbit. Four companions, each with their own character, habits and way of being loved. This everyday life is where we want to begin the story of Wefido: with affection, responsibility and a wish to build something useful for people who share their lives with animals.
Mia, and what it means to care.
Mia, who lives with epilepsy, is part of this story. We share this because life with an animal includes vulnerability and the need for care and companionship, alongside the happy moments. Mia is much more than her condition. She is part of our family, and this is the perspective we want to bring to Wefido: seeing the animal first, and the bond with the people beside them.
For us, a journal for recording observations and episodes, and finding information to share with the vet, has a very practical meaning. It does not replace their work: it helps organise everyday care and keep important information together. This is the kind of support we want at the heart of the project.
From our experience, a space to share.
Wefido brings together professional and service searches, a community, guides, a pet board and tools for life with pets. A place to find a contact, share experiences, learn about your animal and keep their information organised. For people who work with animals, it is also a space to introduce their business and manage customer relationships.
Our wish is simple: to turn the love we live every day into something that can help others too. For Mia, for our companions, and for everyone who, like us, calls them family.
