Full description

The Cymric is the long-haired variety of the Manx, with a rounded, sturdy body, powerful hindquarters and a dense semi-long coat. It is generally affectionate, sociable and closely involved in family life, while retaining a playful and balanced nature. The shortened or absent tail is caused by a genetic trait that can also affect the spine and nerves, so appearance should never take priority over health. Regular brushing is needed to keep the coat free of tangles.
