Full description

The Maine Coon is a powerful, slow-maturing cat that is often friendly, adaptable and involved in family life. It needs sturdy vertical spaces, large scratching posts and daily interactive play suited to its size and intelligence. The semi-long coat requires regular combing, particularly around areas prone to tangles. Its substantial build should not be confused with excess weight, and food portions should be managed carefully throughout adulthood.
