Casole Bruzio - CosenzaThe VAB Calabria Specialist Canine Unit is part of Federazione VAB Calabria ODV, a regional civil-protection volunteer organisation. The unit prepares and deploys dog-and-handler teams to search for missing people; its documented training includes wilderness and surface search, rubble search and mantrailing, coordinated with the federation’s other specialist units. It is not a commercial dog-training centre: operational availability, volunteering, training and activation procedures should be discussed with the regional operations room or secretariat. The former Casali del Manco location is no longer confirmed by current official sources.
