Full description

The Australian Cattle Dog is a focused, tough and quick-thinking worker bred to control livestock over long distances. Daily physical exercise alone is not enough: it also needs structured training, problem-solving and an appropriate outlet for chasing and heel-nipping instincts. Early socialisation and the deliberate teaching of calm behaviour are essential. Without sufficient work and guidance, frustration can become destructive, reactive or controlling behaviour.
