Full description

The Beauceron is an athletic working dog with natural herding and guarding instincts. It often forms a strong bond with its household but needs substantial daily exercise, varied mental work and calm, consistent reward-based training. Its size, strength and protective tendencies make early socialisation and secure handling essential. Slow maturation means training and impulse-control work must continue well beyond puppyhood.
