Full description

The Border Terrier is an energetic, curious and cooperative small working terrier. It is affectionate with its family and often sociable, but it retains a strong prey drive and a determined, independent streak. Daily exercise, reliable recall training and secure outdoor areas are important. Its harsh coat requires periodic hand-stripping to maintain the correct texture.
