Full description

The Briard is a powerful, sensitive working dog that forms a close bond with its household and needs substantial daily exercise, mental work and consistent reward-based training. Early socialisation is important because guarding and herding tendencies may otherwise become difficult to manage. The long double coat tangles readily and requires thorough grooming several times a week, including attention to feet, ears and the hair around the eyes.
