Full description

The Papillon is alert, agile and highly trainable, often excelling in obedience, tricks and small-dog sports. Its size does not remove the need for daily walks, play, socialisation and mental challenges. Gentle handling and supervision are essential around young children and larger dogs, while calm guidance can prevent alert barking from becoming excessive. The fine coat needs regular combing, especially behind the fringed ears.
