Full description

The Saluki is a graceful, sensitive and independent sighthound developed for speed and endurance. It can be affectionate and calm at home, while remaining reserved with strangers and strongly motivated to chase outdoors. Patient handling, regular walks and opportunities to run in securely enclosed areas are important. Recall should never be assumed around wildlife, and its lean body needs warm, comfortable resting places.
