Full description

The Schipperke is alert, agile and often intensely interested in everything around it. It needs daily exercise, training and problem-solving activities, while early socialisation and calm guidance help manage barking, suspicion and independent decision-making. Its compact size does not make it a passive lap dog. The dense black double coat needs regular brushing and sheds more heavily during seasonal changes.
