Full description

The Shih Tzu is a friendly, people-oriented companion that can adapt well to apartment life when given daily walks, play and social contact. Its long coat requires substantial grooming, while its prominent eyes and short muzzle need careful daily attention. Heat, humidity and strenuous exercise can compromise breathing, so activity should be adjusted to the individual dog and weather conditions.
