Full description

The Swedish Vallhund is an agile, confident farm dog that needs daily exercise, training and mental work despite its short stature. Herding instincts may appear as chasing, barking or heel-nipping and require early guidance. Its long back and short legs make lean body condition and sensible management of repetitive jumping important. The dense double coat is easy to maintain between seasonal periods of heavy shedding.
