Full description

The Whippet is a gentle, people-oriented sighthound that often adapts well to apartment life when given daily walks and regular chances to run safely. It enjoys comfort and close companionship, but its speed and chase instinct require secure areas and responsible management around smaller animals. Its thin skin, low body fat and short coat make warm clothing and soft bedding useful in cold conditions.
