Full description

The Xoloitzcuintle, also known as the Mexican Hairless Dog, is an ancient and distinctive breed with a calm, sensitive and loyal nature. It often bonds closely with its family while remaining reserved with strangers, so balanced early socialisation is important. Hairless dogs need practical skin care and protection from intense sun, cold and physical irritation; coated Xolos require more conventional grooming. Both varieties benefit from daily walks, gentle training and close companionship.
